Dr Aiken Leung is a VP in business development for Solace. While working on many IoT and FSI projects across Asia Pacific and Europe, Aiken is also an evangelist and architect in distributed architecture, hybrid cloud solutions and edge computing with focus on banking, stock/FX exchange and payment platforms.

Aiken has nearly 30 years of hardware and software design, development and project management experience.  He worked mostly in the UK before joining the Asia Pacific team with BEA and then Oracle. He was a Principle Architect with BEA and led the APAC ACE team with Oracle. In the UK, Aiken worked on applications for human genetic research before working on the UK National Health Service (NHS) IT projects.

Aiken has a Doctorate Degree in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA from Oxford, UK. His research expertise was on medical imaging and acoustic modelling of human respiratory system.
