Emad Aladhal is the head of Client Assets and Resolution Department (CARD) at the FCA. The client assets specialist supervisors within the department are focused on firms maintaining robust segregation or safeguarding arrangements when holding their client assets or funds. In addition, CARD’s resolution specialists are engaged in reducing harm when a financial services firm enters insolvency proceedings.
Prior to joining the FCA, Emad has extensive experience as a regulatory consultant and within compliance of a top tier investment bank. He has advised on various aspects of the regulatory regime and his experience includes advising on the distribution of client assets during the administration of a failed large investment bank during the last financial crises.
