Armed with years of experience from the fintech industry, Gero joined Yield App to develop and implement a fiat payments infrastructure for EUR and GBP. By leveraging best-in-class technology such as virtual IBANs and open banking solutions, he has brought an efficient, compliant and seamless experience to end users.

He has a strong background in leading payments departments, and has a deep understanding of the payments landscape. Outside of his professional pursuits, he holds an MBA with a specialism in strategy from Edinburgh Business School of Heriot-Watt University, and is also a professional football referee in his home country of Bulgaria.
