Jonathan (Jon) Bittner is the CEO and co-founder of Splitwise, a mobile app for consumers that takes the stress and awkwardness out of sharing money. Splitwise is used by tens of millions of people around the world to manage expenses for group trips, households, families, and other cost sharing situations. For his work on Splitwise, Jon has been featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 and the Providence Business News 40 Under 40. Previously, Jon was an astrophysics PhD student at Harvard and a pricing consultant at Simon-Kucher and Partners. He has also authored or coauthored four published board games. Jon lives in Providence, RI with his wife Rebecca and two children and holds a B.S. in Physics from Yale and an M.S. in Physics from Harvard.
