Kevin is a Payments Risk Director within the global team at the Payments Consulting Network  www.paymentsconsulting.com .

Kevin is a trusted and senior payments, compliance and risk management subject matter expert and business adviser with 30+ years management and leadership experience in the payments industry, in the UK, across Europe and internationally.

He was previously in senior management roles in retail management (Sainsburys), card services at Lloyds Bank, and card scheme management, with both Switch Card Services in the UK and Visa globally.

Kevin spent nearly 17 years in various senior management and leadership roles at Visa in Europe and internationally, including a three-year secondment to Visa HQ in California.

Visa roles included product and service strategy development, product development and management, technology innovation, back-office services, business development, operating regulations, information security, fraud, risk and compliance management. In his last role at Visa Europe, Kevin was the SVP for Fraud Management and Compliance.

Over the past 13 years and alongside other consulting colleagues, Kevin has operated as an independent and respected business advisor and consultant in electronic payments management and performance, broader information management and data protection, including PCI DSS and GDPR.

Kevin is primarily engaged by merchant acquirers, payment processors and merchants to enhance good risk governance and performance.

Kevin is a co-founder of the Association of Independent Risk and Fraud Advisors (AIRFA), providing independent input and challenge to payments industry developments and regulatory change, including input to regulatory review and consultations by the Financial Conduct Authority, Payment Systems Regulator, HM Treasury and more.
