Marin is an Investment Associate at Anthemis, where he helps discover, evaluate and execute investments as well as provide support for Anthemis portfolio companies. He brings in-depth knowledge of the financial services sector particularly in the asset management and alternative lending industries, and has first-hand operational experience in incubating startups in this space.Prior to joining Anthemis, Marin was an Investment Associate at Innoventures, the fintech venture arm of Santander and, prior to that, was a member of the Alternative Finance team at Liberum Capital. Marin started his career at BlackRock in the alternative investment division.Marin holds a master’s degree in investment management from CASS Business School and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the European Business School. He is a passionate surfer and rock climber.
