Nuno Sousa is Head of Payments of Banco BNI Europa, with responsibilities for launching new products associated with existing and new payment types, defining the distribution, product and portfolio management strategies of these products boosting the launch of the business in Portugal.

Mr. Nuno Sousa has more than 15 years of international experience in the financial sector accumulating different positions in ​​payments area in recognized companies of the sector like Citibank and Barclaycard. Prior to joining the BNI Europa team, he held various management positions in several areas such as: Manager of the Analysis and Planning unit of Barclaycard Spain, manager of the Projects & TRIAD unit of Barclaycard Spain; Responsible for the CRM Department of the Center of Excellence of Barclaycard WE (including Portugal, Spain and Italy); Responsible for the Strategy and Planning Department of Barclaycard Portugal; Responsible for the Planning and Analysis Unit of the card business of Citibank Portugal. He holds a Master's Degree in Statistics and Information Management from ISEGI-UNL, Post-Graduation in Market Studies and CRM from ISEGI-UNL and a degree in Mathematics Applied to Economics and Management from ISEG-UTL.
