As Group Head of Cards & Consumer Payments at Danske Bank, the largest bank in Denmark and the 2nd largest bank in Northern Europe, René Thejsen is responsible for setting the Strategic direction for Cards and Payments. Focus areas in the last years have been to digitize everyday tasks and bringing them to the mobile bank and simplifying the product mix. Going forward, we will focus more on how can we bring our customers more value.
René has extensive leadership experience within Product development from Banking, Start-ups and the Telecom industry in both the Nordics and Asia.
He holds a Masters degree from Copenhagen Business school in Fincance & Strategic Management.
